Great News for the Pictou Community New Horizons 50+ Club!

The Pictou Community New Horizons 50+ Club provides incredible opportunities for seniors to gather with one another. To encourage further activity and togetherness, we recently provided $25,000 from the New Horizons for Seniors Program to renovate and enhance their kitchen facility!

This money allowed them to expand upon their clubs offerings. Now, seniors have greater opportunity to get together before events and prepare lunch and meals for social activities, allowing even more time to be spent in the facility and making greater use of the club.

Congrats on the upgrades! I’m always thrilled to support programs that keep seniors active in our communities and am happy to see our investments receive so much use from the community!
