Enabling Accessibility: $100,000 for MacDonald Rebekah Lodge

We’re helping make communities more accessible!

Thanks to the volunteers at the MacDonald Rebekah Lodge in Sunnybrae for their efforts to ensure every member of the community can participate in events hosted at this historic community hall.

We are contributing $100,000 through the Enabling Accessibility Fund to build two new accessible washrooms and install two accessible doors, creating a more welcoming environment for visitors of all abilities.

It was great catching up with the community during my latest visit. Congrats to everyone on securing this funding for your community! It’ll go a long way to make this space more inclusive for everyone!
