Great Day at Fossil Farms!

We need to embrace new solutions to solve the housing challenges Canadian communities are facing.

I recently visited The Shaw Group’s property at Fossil Farms in Nova Scotia to see their modular demonstration houses and to hear how they can help build more homes for families.

They are currently training Canadian workers and newcomers to quickly build modular homes in communities, with a goal of maintaining reasonable prices so more families can consider owning a home for the first time.

Some of their new team members recently arrived after fleeing the war in Ukraine, and as they adjust to life in our community, they are now building homes for others.
