RJ MacIsaac Construction is a Nova Scotia-based company that has been creating good paying jobs in our communities for decades.

I visited their site at the Port of Sheet Harbour today to see their work first-hand and get a sense of the company’s plans for future growth.

You might recognize some of the work they’ve undertaken as part of the effort to decommission the MV Holiday Island, the offshore platform used at the Deep Panuke site, or some the vessels that were previously abandoned in coastal communities across the Province.

It’s incredible to see a local company putting people to work at home to clean up these vessels and infrastructure at the end of their life cycle in a sustainable way.

I look forward to my next visit and to seeing more opportunities for people who call Nova Scotia home!
