Becoming a citizen is an important moment in the lives of newcomers, and watching families take their oath reminds me how lucky I am to have been born Canadian.

Thank you U SPORTS Canada for providing our newest citizens with the opportunity to join on court during the Men’s National Basketball Championship Semi-Final last night and sing O Canada for the first time as Canadians.

Congratulations to all the new citizens who participated in the ceremony. We warmly welcome you to the Canadian family!
