Upgrades to the Hillside Community Centre

I am so excited to see the results from the hard work that the folks at the Hillside Community Centre have put in!

After a long two years, the Hillside Community Centre is excited to be hosting events again and our government is thrilled to help them return to normal!

The federal government provided $68,250 towards construction to the building that will add a new kitchen and make the entire space more accessible.

This contribution comes as part of the Canada Community Revitalization Fund, which was established to help facilities bounce back from the difficulties associated with the pandemic.

Thank you to those who contributed your time and energy to this project. These developments don’t get very far without members of the community driving the effort!

I can’t wait to see the hall once the work is complete!
