Celebrating the History of Stellarton

When community comes together for a common goal, fantastic things can happen

History is a vital part of our communities and our government is pitching in to ensure that the town of Stellarton is able to celebrate theirs with a contribution of $11,000 through the Canada Community Revitalization Fund.

This funding will help with the cost of a new art exhibit commemorating the town’s rich history and will also be used to create a new heritage room above the library. Additionally, this will help cover the cost of new signage around town, as well as the creation of a map to help both residents and visitors alike find local points of interest.

I am always impressed by what can be accomplished when a community comes together for a common goal. Congratulations on your hard work everyone!
