Canada hits Vaccination Milestone

Canada hits another vaccination milestone - we now have a higher percentage of fully vaccinated people than the United States.

As of July 17:
CANADA: 48.64%
UNITED STATES: 48.4%

We also continue to lead G20 countries in the rate of those with their first shot, which bodes well for our ability to safely re-open our communities as we continue to administer doses across the country.

If you know someone who hasn't been vaccinated yet, talk to them about it. If they simply haven't gotten around to it, encourage them to make an appointment soon. If they have questions, point them to a reliable source of information, such as Health Canada, or a family doctor.

We are getting close to the end of this pandemic. Get your shot so we can finish the job!
