100th anniversary of the St. Andrews Society of Pictou County!

Pictou County is rich in culture, including a strong Celtic heritage.

Last night, we celebrated the 100th anniversary of the St. Andrews Society of Pictou County!

Keeping a local heritage organization going for a century is no small feat and speaks volumes about the commitment of past and current members of the Board.

A special thanks to Barrie MacMillan for helping organize a fabulous evening, to Jim Mitchell for serving as the Master of Ceremonies, and to Premier Tim Houston, MLA Karla MacFarlane, Margaret Mitchell, and Carolyn MacMillan for the great conversations over dinner.
