Biscuits, sunshine and good news!

On Saturday April 29th, I was pleased to be joined by community members to announce the details of the final projects announced under the overall total of $192,000 through the New Horizons for Seniors Program.

At the MacPherson’s Mills Community Hall, almost $45,000 combined for the MacPherson’s Mills Community Hall, who will be installing two heat pumps to increase energy savings and for the Town of New Glasgow for three workshops aligned to the Age-Friendly Action Plan.

Following the announcement, we enjoyed delicious homemade biscuits and jam, always a treat!
