Happy 100th Birthday Dorothy!

It was an absolute delight on Saturday to partake in the celebrations in Meagher’s Grant for Dorothy Williams 100th Birthday!

It was quite a celebration with friends and family for Dorothy, and it was my pleasure to be on hand to offer congratulations on behalf of the Government of Canada, and to see Dorothy’s excitement at the greetings from Buckingham Palace – which came from Queen Elizabeth II herself!

Thanks to Councillor Steve Streatch and MLA Larry Harrison for being on hand as well.

 Of course, since the band didn’t make it on time, I was happy to play a few tunes for the birthday girl!
