A Plan to Build More Homes, Faster

We've got to build more homes in this country, and we've got to do it fast.

In the next couple of weeks, we will be introducing our comprehensive plan to get it done.

Today, we announced 2 measures that will help communities build more homes:

-$6 Billion dollars for communities to ensure that they have the infrastructure they need to build more homes; and

-$400 million more for the Housing Accelerator Fund to help the most ambitious communities do things like digitize their permitting processes, allow more housing near transit stations, colleges and universities, and change zoning rules to make it easier for people to build small apartments on property they own.
