Launching a National School Food Program

We’re launching a National School Food Program!

When kids eat well, they do better at school.

The price of groceries is putting a lot of pressure on families, and food for school during the week can be a major expense.

But kids shouldn’t go without the food they need to be healthy or to get the most out of school.

The program will include a $1 Billion investment to help provide meals to 400,000 additional kids across Canada, over and above those benefiting from provincial programs.

This is going to make a big difference, and I’m looking forward to seeing more programs offered at schools in our region!
