A Great Visit to NSCC Pictou!

I had the chance to spend some time this week at NSCC Pictou to take in a performance of the Umoja African Drummers, made up of siblings Muresia, Muriko, and Murtriko Izzard.

During our visit, the business program was hosting “Mini Ventures”, which is a student-led learning opportunity based around product creation and sales in a market set up at the school.

It is always inspiring to be on campus and connect with students to hear about the opportunities they see for our community and the challenges facing young people.

Thanks for having me. Looking forward to my next visit!
