Great Meeting with Mi’kmaq Chiefs from Nova Scotia!

Had a productive meeting in Ottawa this week with Mi’kmaq Chiefs in Nova Scotia, including Chief Tamara Young from Pictou Landing First Nation.

We discussed the unique housing needs facing Indigenous communities in our province and the opportunity to partner with the federal government to solve the challenges they are facing.
