We’re Building More Affordable Housing in New Glasgow!
We’re building more affordable housing in New Glasgow!
Together, the federal and provincial governments, along with the Nova Scotia Co-operative Council, have invested more than $4 Million toward the construction of 20 new affordable homes at Coady’s Place.
With the second phase now complete, this project now includes 56 homes for people that range in age from 6 months to 96 years.
These fully-furnished and accessible homes are helping our community members find a safe place to live that they can afford.
There is a lot more to do to address the housing challenges we see in our community, but this development is having a real and positive impact on people here at home.
This collective effort between government, local organizations, and the community showcases what we can achieve when we work together.
Thank you to everyone who has been involved in this important project!
