Volunteers are at the heart of our communities.

Volunteers are at the heart of our communities.

I stopped by the new River John Food Bank this afternoon to see the positive impact the new food bank will have on the community.

In addition to the food bank, the facility will have its own community garden and greenhouse.

This project benefitted from a federal investment of more than $170,000, but it is the community members who are giving their time, energy, and ideas that have brought the important initiative to life.

Thanks to everyone involved. River John is lucky to have such thoughtful neighbours!
