Expanding Accessibility: $100,000 Grant for Pictou County Women's Resource and Sexual Assault Centre
The Pictou County Women’s Resource and Sexual Assault Centre provides extraordinary services to our community, but the incredible staff and volunteers need our support to make their supports accessible to everyone here at home.
I stopped by the Centre this morning to announce a $100,000 investment from the federal government’s Enabling Accessibility Fund to help ensure that their services remain accessible to people living with disabilities.
To the staff and volunteers, I would like to send a special thank you for everything you do on behalf of our community!
