It’s setting day at home on the Northumberland Strait and the season is already underway along the Eastern Shore!

The lobster fishery has supported families in our communities for generations. It is hard, and often dangerous work.

I’m wishing a safe and successful season on the water for all of our harvesters.

Can’t wait for my first feed of the year when I’m back from Parliament Hill!
