Nova Scotia is leading the way in climate research.
Today, we announced a $154 Million investment toward Dalhousie University’s research project: Transforming Climate Action - An Ocean’s First Approach.
The project will examine how climate change is impacting our oceans and how we can use the ocean environment to advance solutions in the fight against climate change.
The initiative will have an incredible impact on our province’s economy. In addition to directly supporting researchers, businesses in the region will take part in exciting opportunities to grow and hire people from the region in good paying sustainable jobs.
