Celebrating 80 years of business!

This weekend, 989 XFM celebrated 80 years of business!

Radio stations play an important role in keeping our communities connected, and as the only independently owned radio station in Nova Scotia, 989 is a valuable asset to not only the community of Antigonish, but all of the areas they service.

They were also named the Small Market Station of the Year as part of the Canadian Radio Awards in 2020!

As they celebrate 80 years in business, please join me in celebrating all their achievements, and in thanking them for all they contribute to the world of broadcasting!
