The Human Side of Numbers

The measures our government has taken, along with the hard work of Canadians are both having positive and profound impacts on our communities.

✅ There are over a million more Canadians working with a job today than there were on the night of the 2015 federal eleciton.

✅ We are at the lowest unemployment rate in the history of the country since we have started keeping track of that statistic in 1976.

✅ The Canada Child Benefit has lifted over 300,000 Canadian children out of poverty.

These statistics are impressive but, there is an extremely human side to these numbers that I think is important.
