Welcome home Sherbrooke & Area Volunteer Fire Department!

It was an honour to join the community in celebrating the departments grand opening of their new fire hall.

In February of last year, I was pleased to share that the federal government was contributing $242,000 to renovate an existing community building for this new space. I was pleased to speak at the opening, and it was very humbling as Ed Weir read the names of all partners and donors to this project who made this dream a reality through true community spirit.

Congratulations to Ed Weir, who led the project, the department, and the community at large who made this a reality.
