The Antigonish Heritage Museum is going digital!

The Casket newspaper was the paper of record for much of eastern Nova Scotia for hundreds of years and the heritage museum has copies of the paper spanning from 1890 all the way to 2006!

They’ve been working to scan their copies of the paper and upload them online for everyone to access and have uploaded 58 issues of The Casket so far! They’ll be adding more each week until the collection is fully online.

Our government contributed over $20,000 through the Digital Access to Heritage Program to ensure our history is preserved and available for everyone to access.
