Cleanup is Underway!

As the storm clean up continues, we’re providing federal support to assist the Province of Nova Scotia’s efforts.

This includes:

Specialized snow removal equipment through Parks Canada and Public Safety.

• We have mobilized over 500 personnel from the Canadian Coast Guard and Team Rubicon, a veteran-led humanitarian organization to help with snow removal.

• We made sure that air support is available to assist with the delivery of critical supplies, search and rescue, and the evacuation of isolated and at-risk individuals as it is needed.

• We will continue to assess what more can be done to extend our support and provide the necessary assistance to the Province of Nova Scotia.
