Great Day for Viola’s Way

Viola’s Way in New Glasgow will be a terrific new gathering place for the community that honours not only Viola Desmond’s defence of racial equality but changemakers from the African Nova Scotian community more broadly who have been living in this region for more than 400 years.

Proud to see this project move forward with more than $700,000 from the federal government, and can’t wait to see the benefits to our downtown in New Glasgow.
