An Exciting Day in Ottawa!

Today, I was sworn into Prime Minister Mark Carney’s cabinet as Canada’s Minister of Justice and Attorney-General, as well as the Minister responsible for economic development in Atlantic Canada.

I want to express my gratitude to my constituents and volunteers for the opportunity to serve as the Member of Parliament for Central Nova. There is no opportunity to serve in cabinet without first earning the trust of your community to serve as its representative in the House of Commons.

Thank you as well to my wife, kids, and mom who were able to join for the ceremony today, and to the entire Fraser Clan for your love and support along the way.

I am grateful beyond measure for the privilege to serve my community and my country.

Now it’s time to get to work!
