Supporting Veterans

If we can afford to send our citizens to war, we can afford to take care of them when they come home.

We are investing over $6.7 Million in two Nova Scotia-based organizations as part of the new Veteran Homelessness Program so that veterans can get the supports they need.

VETS Canada and Landing Strong will use this funding to work with veterans who have housing needs or who are experiencing homelessness. This will include rent supplements, mental and physical health services, and transitional housing, among other supports.

This program will provide organizations that support veterans with the support they need to find stable and affordable housing for women and men who have served.
