Today marks one year since Russia’s unprovoked attack on Ukraine and its people.

Since then, Canada has opened its doors and Canadians have opened their homes to those fleeing for safety, and more than 165,000 Ukrainians have arrived safely in Canada.

Canada will continue to stand with Ukraine as it defends the principles of sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the right to self-determination, which have helped deliver peace and prosperity to Canada and the world for much of the past century.
