The weather was perfect this year for Canada Day!

I had the chance to attend the Westville Canada Day Parade with some folks from our constituency office. It was awesome to see some many people come out to enjoy the floats and displays put on by those in the parade!

I will always cherish watching new Canadians take the oath of citizenship, but this time was extra special with Rania and Mohammad taking part in the ceremony.

After all the fun at the parade, I was off to Halifax to perform the first in-person citizenship ceremony since 2019! I even got to see some familiar Central Nova faces in the crowd. To Rania and Mohammad, and all those who got their citizenship, congratulations! I cannot wait to see the contributions you make to not only our communities but to our country.
