Question to Parliamentary Secretary McCrimmon regarding the ferry service

Our federal government recognizes that reliable ferry service is essential for economic growth, business development, and tourism for our coastal communities. This is especially important here in Central Nova, and for our friends across the Strait in Cardigan with our Caribou-Wood Islands ferry service.

I was pleased to rise in the House of Commons to ask my colleague Karen McCrimmon, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Transport, the Honourable Marc Garneau, how our government is investing in reliable ferry service, spurring growth in my riding, and our region here in Atlantic Canada.
