Pink Shirt Day

It’s #pinkshirtday – a movement developed by two Nova Scotian teenagers David Shepard, Travis Price and their friends who organized a protest to wear pink in sympathy with a Grade 9 boy who was bullied for wearing pink.

Today I’m wearing pink as a reminder that we can work together to combat bullying. Thank you to the people in Central Nova who work to end bullying in our communities every day.
