We invite you to join us for a fun, family-focused community BBQ (while supplies last) with kids games from Northshore Events, and a visit with the Prime Minister.

This year to mark the holiday season, I’m delighted to invite you to my family-friendly free skates, being held throughout the riding, December 27th-29th.
If you don’t feel like skating, I still encourage you to drop by to say hello, and enjoy a complimentary hot chocolate.
Please note that for those planning to skate, helmets are required for those 18 and under.

MP FRASER HOSTING OPEN HOUSE AT NEW GLASGOW CONSTITUENCY OFFICE
New Glasgow, NS – Sean Fraser, Member of Parliament, is hosting an open house at his New Glasgow constituency office at 115 MacLean Street, on Saturday July 16th, from 10am-1pm and will feature tastes and sounds from the riding.
Fraser and his team will be on-site to greet constituents, “Many constituents have reached out to our office and would love to meet or reconnect with myself or one of our team members. I encourage everyone to drop by to say hello, see our office, and enjoy some refreshments.”
Local producers and businesses will be featured, which will include; gluten-free oatcakes from Carlson Family Farm in River John, cheese from Knoydart Farms in Knoydart, coffee & tea by Pantry Kitchen Catering in New Glasgow, a selection of fruit from Sobeys, and Chocolate from Peace by Chocolate in Antigonish, which is run by one of our community’s newest members who joined us from Syria.
Constituents will also have the opportunity to enjoy the sounds of local fiddlers Rowan Larson, Chantelle Ramsey, Katey Aucoin, Amelia Parker, and Hayley MacLeod. Children can have their faces painted by Janice Hatt from Face Painting by Janice. As well, Tonya Francis will be performing a traditional smudging ceremony on behalf of Pictou Landing First Nation.
“We’re incredibly excited to welcome everyone to the office, meet the team and enjoy some of the things that make our riding great,” said Fraser. “With the New Glasgow Farmer’s Market just next door, we certainly encourage those out and about on Saturday to include us and the market as a part of their Saturday morning.”
