$45,000 announced for local projects through the New Horizons for Seniors Program

It was a great way to kick off a beautiful Saturday morning with some sunshine and good news

Biscuits, sunshine and good news!

On Saturday April 29th, I was pleased to be joined by community members to announce the details of the final projects announced under the overall total of $192,000 through the New Horizons for Seniors Program (Read original release here).

At the MacPherson’s Mills Community Hall, almost $45,000 combined for the MacPherson’s Mills Community Hall, who will be installing two heat pumps to increase energy savings and for the Town of New Glasgow for three workshops aligned to the Age-Friendly Action Plan.

Following the announcement, we enjoyed delicious homemade biscuits and jam, always a treat!
